Our services, in plain English.
Whether you come to us with one specific need or ready to build across all three pillars, here's exactly what we offer — and what you can expect.
Grant Strategy & Management
From proposal to post-award — and everything in between.
WHAT THIS IS
Most organizations treat grants as a lifeline rather than a strategy. We help you build a sustainable grants program — from evaluating your readiness and identifying the right opportunities to writing proposals and managing the full grant lifecycle.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Grant Readiness Assessment
Opportunity Research & Funder Mapping
Proposal Development
Multi-year Grant Planning
Post-award Setup
Grant Reporting
Funder Relationship Management
BEST FOR
Organizations ready to move from reactive grant-chasing to strategic, long-term funding development. We work with both organizations that are new to grants and established nonprofits looking to improve their success rate or expand into new funding streams.
Fundraising & Planning
Build the revenue base your mission deserves.
WHAT THIS IS
If your organization is grant-dependent or only raises money when crisis hits, this is where we start. We help you build: major gifts, annual fund, grants, corporate support, and events.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Annual Fund Strategy
Individual Donor Cultivation
Revenue Diversification Strategy
Major Gifts
Corporate/business support
Donor Database Consultation
Case for Support Development
Campaign Planning
BEST FOR
Organizations that are too dependent on a single funding source, those building an individual donor program for the first time, or leaders who want a clear, written plan they can actually implement.
Board Development
A healthy board is the foundation of everything.
WHAT THIS IS
A board that's aligned, engaged, and clear on their role changes everything for an organization. Whether you're starting from scratch or working through a challenging season, we help organizations build the governance structure, role clarity, and board culture that supports sustainable leadership — for the long term, not just the next meeting.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Governance Training
Board Assessment
Role Clarification (board vs staff)
Retreat Facilitation
Meeting Facilitation
Recruitment Strategy
Governance Policies & Training
Board & ED Alignment Sessions
Contract Administrative Assistance to Boards
BEST FOR
Organizations ready to invest in stronger governance, and those already navigating board challenges who need a clear path forward.
Strategic Planning
Turn your vision into a plan your whole organization can follow.
WHAT THIS IS
Most nonprofits know where they want to go; they just don't have a clear, shared path to get there. We guide organizations through a structured process that brings board and staff into alignment and translates your mission into focused priorities. We produce a plan that lives in your daily decision-making, not just on a shelf.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Internal Assessment & Findings Summary
Strategic Planning Workshops
Vision & Risk Mapping (1,3 & 5 Year Plans)
Strategic Priorities, Goals, & Measures Development
Implementation Plan & Timeline
Accountability Framework
Comprehensive Strategic Plan Delivery
BEST FOR
Organizations ready to move beyond day-to-day reaction and invest in a clear direction for the next one, three, and five years — and those that need to get board and staff on the same page before they can move forward.
Leadership Development
The skills nobody teaches but everyone needs.
WHAT THIS IS
They're called "soft skills" — but they're the hardest ones to master and the most likely to make or break your leadership. Having difficult conversations. Advocating for yourself with your board. Setting boundaries. Managing conflict. Delegating without losing control. These are the skills nonprofit leaders ask us about constantly, and almost nobody is teaching them in the nonprofit context.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
1:1 Leadership Coaching
Staff & Board Workshops
Cohort Programs
Retreat Facilitation
Communications Training
Boundary-setting & Delegation Coaching
Level Up Leadership Series
BEST FOR
New Executive Directors finding their footing, experienced EDs navigating new challenges, and leadership teams that want to build a stronger internal culture. Also well-suited for rising leaders preparing for an ED role.
Gallup Strengths Coaching
Know your team. Lead from strength.
WHAT THIS IS
Understanding how you and your team are wired changes everything about how you work together. We facilitate Clifton Strengths coaching in the nonprofit context — connecting individual strengths to real organizational challenges, not just self-awareness exercises.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Strengths Assessment Facilitation
Individual Coaching Sessions
Team Workshops
Board Team Building Sessions
Ongoing Strengths Training
BEST FOR
Teams experiencing conflict or communication breakdowns, newly formed or recently restructured teams navigating new dynamics, organizations investing in staff development, and boards wanting to operate more effectively together. Can be delivered as a standalone engagement or woven into broader leadership or governance work.

We'll always tell you what we can't do.
Part of our commitment to honest partnership is being upfront about scope. There are things we don't do — and we'll always refer you to the right person when you need expertise outside ours.
-
We don't plan or manage galas, auctions, or events. We focus on the strategies that create sustainable revenue rather than one-time spikes.
-
Major capital campaigns require a different specialized expertise. We're glad to help you find the right consultant for that work.
-
For CPA-level financial work, budgeting audits, or accounting systems, you'll need a financial professional. We're happy to help you think through questions, but we won't advise outside our expertise
-
Personnel matters, employment compliance, and HR policy fall outside our scope. We can support your leadership culture, but HR-specific guidance requires a qualified HR professional.
Price shouldn't be a surprise.
Nonprofit budgets are real constraints — and we design every engagement to fit your organization's actual reality. Every proposal is custom-built. We'll always walk you through costs clearly before you commit to anything. No surprises.
A note on pro bono support:
We believe expert support shouldn't be a luxury. One pro bono partnership is selected annually from open applications — accepted year-round. If budget is a barrier, we'd still love to hear from you.

Not sure where to start?
That's what the first conversation is for. We'll ask the questions that actually matter, listen more than we talk, and help you figure out what your organization needs most right now.
